Pazhanam Technologies Pvt Ltd ("we", "our", or "us") operates the WaitLessQ mobile application and web service (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using WaitLessQ, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google's authentication service.
- Business profile: Company name, business type, and country that you enter during onboarding.
- Queue and customer data: Names and party sizes of customers you add to your queue. You may optionally collect customer phone numbers for contact purposes.
- Menu data: Restaurant name, logo, menu categories, and item details you configure in the app.
- Staff data: Names and PIN codes you create for your staff members.
- Table data: Table names and configurations you set up for your business.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: Queue session counts, customer timestamps, and feature usage patterns — used to compute your daily and monthly analytics.
- Device information: Device type, operating system version, and app version, collected by Firebase Analytics to help us debug issues.
- Log data: Standard server logs including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps when you use the web version.
1.3 Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect payment card details (premium upgrades are handled via direct contact or third-party payment processors).
- We do not collect precise GPS location.
- We do not read your contacts, camera, or microphone unless you explicitly upload a logo image.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide the Service: To operate your queue, show the live public queue page to customers, manage your tables, and display your menu.
- Analytics dashboard: To compute and display your own daily, weekly, and monthly queue statistics inside the app.
- Account management: To identify your account, manage your subscription tier (free or premium), and allow staff PIN login.
- Service improvements: To understand how features are used and fix bugs. We analyse aggregated, anonymised patterns only.
- Support communication: To respond to support requests you send to info@pazhanam.com.
- Legal compliance: To comply with applicable laws and regulations.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your data to any third party.
3. How We Store Your Data
All data is stored on Google Firebase (Firebase Realtime Database), which is hosted on Google's secure cloud infrastructure. Firebase is ISO 27001, SOC 2, and SOC 3 certified. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest by Google's infrastructure.

4. Third-Party Services
WaitLessQ uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

We do not share your personal data with any other third parties unless required by law.
5. Customer Data You Add to the Queue
You (the business owner or staff) are responsible for the customer data you enter into the queue — such as customer names and party sizes. This data:
- Is stored under your account in Firebase and only accessible by you and your staff.
- Is displayed on your public queue page in a limited form (customers see their token number and position only; names may be masked based on your privacy settings).
- Is used solely to operate your queue and is never accessed by us for marketing purposes.
You should obtain any necessary consent from your customers before recording their personal information in the app, in accordance with the data protection laws applicable to your country.
6. Data Retention
- Queue records: Customer queue entries are retained in your account indefinitely unless you delete them or request account deletion.
- Account data: Retained while your account is active.
- After account deletion: All your data (userInfo, menu, tables, staff, customer records) is permanently deleted from Firebase within 30 days of a deletion request.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correction: Update incorrect information directly in the app or by contacting us.
- Deletion: Request that we delete your account and all associated data.
- Portability: Export your queue data using the CSV export feature in the app.
- Objection: Object to our processing of your data for purposes other than providing the Service.

8. Children's Privacy
WaitLessQ is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately at info@pazhanam.com.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption in transit, Firebase security rules that restrict access by authenticated users only, and admin access limited to authorised personnel. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Users
WaitLessQ is operated from India and serves users in India, UAE, Canada, USA, UK, and Europe. If you are accessing the Service from outside India, your data may be transferred to and processed in India and the United States (where Firebase servers are located). By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we rely on your consent and our legitimate interest in operating the Service as the legal basis for processing.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. For significant changes, we will notify you via the email associated with your account.
