Before starting Pazhanam Technologies, I was working at Fitness One Group India Ltd, a company with many branches across India. We had fitness staff, air conditioning technicians, and specialists for treadmill and EFX equipment. The company operated with a centralized corporate office, and any request — especially for technical service or maintenance — had to go through a long, manual process.
If a treadmill needed fixing or the AC wasn't working, we had to:
- Send a formal email to the corporate office
- Wait for approval or technician assignment
- Follow up multiple times to get the work done
This process was slow, repetitive, and frustrating. It often led to delays, inefficiency, and poor customer experience at the gym level.
The Spark of an Idea
While working in that environment, I often thought: "Why can't this be simpler? What if we had a system to raise requests instantly and track them in real time?"
I discussed this challenge with my younger brother, a software engineer. We realized this wasn't just a gym problem — many companies with field staff or branches face the same issue.
And that's when the idea was born: Build software to simplify service requests and internal operations.
Turning the Idea into Reality
Together, we started designing a solution:
